Founded in 2018 by Maxime Ullens, the Domaine de Marzilly is located in Hermonville (Champagne region in France) and produces Champagne for a worldwide distribution.
In 2012, Maxime Ullens bought the ruined Château de Marzilly in the Massif de Saint-Thierry with the aim of completely restoring it. He also acquired an adjacent parcel of vineyard “Clos de Marzilly” which he decided to exploit directly.
In 2019 and only 1 year after the release of its first Champagne, Maxime Ullens was elected Winemaker of the Year by the prestigious Gault&Millau. The strengthening of the company’s capital structure will allow the ambitious winemaker to further accelerate the growth and reputation of Domaine de Marzilly around the globe.
This transaction will be followed by a second tranche of the fundraising in the coming months.
