The founder and owner of Germany-based Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung decided to sell his company to French international rental group Kiloutou.

Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung was established by Werner Middeke in 1984 and is present at four sites in Erfurt, Münster, Holzwickede and its headquarters in Erwitte. The company and its team of around 50 employees operates a fleet of more than 530 aerial work platforms and telescopic forklifts. The diverse equipment with heights up to 58 m is rented to clients from the industrial, craft and construction segment.

By selling his company to Kiloutou, Werner Middeke not only secured the succession of the firm but also found an experienced partner who will invest in the further growth and development of the business.

The acquisition of Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung is another milestone of Kiloutou’s ongoing expansion in Germany where the group sees strong growth potential given the large market size and high level of fragmentation. Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung fits perfectly in Kiloutou Germany’s existing rental network, bridging the previously acquired regional champions in Northern and Southern Germany and offering further expansion opportunities.

This is the third successful transaction of CASE Corporate Finance in the German equipment rental market following the sale of Hamburg-based Starlift in 2016 and Baden-Baden-based Butsch & Meier in 2018
