UKA+HAUKE GmbH (“UKA+HAUKE”) was founded in 1992 by Mrs. and Mr. Uka and is headquartered in Sömmerda, Germany. With three further branches in Chemnitz, Dresden and Gotha, the company is one of the leading rental equipment companies in Thuringia and Saxony. With its team of 20 employees and a broad rental range of c. 300 aerial lifting platforms and telescopic forklifts, UKA+HAUKE targets a customer base of professionals from various industries.

With Kiloutou, the Uka family has secured their succession and found a buyer who is focused on strengthening its presence in areas with strong potential and expanding its network on a national level.

With the acquisition of UKA+HAUKE, the French rental equipment company Kiloutou is reinforcing its presence around the Erfurt area and developing its network in Chemnitz and Dresden. The UKA+HAUKE locations and team will join the network of Kiloutou Germany, which will increase to 18 branches nationwide. The acquisition is a continuation of Kiloutou’s development strategy pursued in Germany and other European countries over the past years.

Commenting on the successful succession, Mrs. and Mr. Uka said: “We are delighted about the acquisition of our rental company by the Kiloutou Group. This will allow our teams in Saxony and Thuringia to continue to develop and expand our market shares, which have increased continuously over the last 30 years. Due to similar philosophies and synergies, we personally believe in Kiloutou’s development project and are pleased to see that our employees and our clients will benefit from entrepreneurial expertise, new investments and a wider range of aerial work platforms.”

CASE Corporate Finance Germany acted as exclusive financial adviser to the shareholders of UKA+HAUKE. This succession project is the sixth transaction in the equipment rental space in the recent past and underlines CASE Corporate Finance’s leading position in this segment.
