Colisée, a reference operator in the age care sector for dependent seniors in France, Italy and Spain has agreed to acquire the Belgian group Armonea. Chaired by Christine Jeandel, Colisée entered a new phase of growth after its backing in June 2017 to IK Investment Partners.
Armonea is controlled by the Belgian investment companies Verlinvest and Palmyra Brands and is active in Belgium, Germany and Spain.
Together, the companies will aggregate 270 specialized facilities and will receive more than 26,800 residents in Belgium, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Colisée and Armonea will rely on shared values to develop further a high-quality supply of facilities and care services for the elderly.
The transaction was completed in May 2019.
