Brau Union announced that it has signed an agreement with the Eckes-Granini Group to divest Pago International. Brau Union is HEINEKEN’s Central and Eastern European holding- and management center. Pago is an Austria based producer of premium fruit juices that has strong market positions with its Pago brand in Austria, Italy, France and Spain. The German Eckes-Granini Group is one of the leading producers of fruit-based beverages in Europe. Pago has an annual turnover of approx. EUR 90 million and is loss-making for already a number of years.
